To whom it may concern,The daily sparkle has been a breath of fresh air to the way activities and reminiscence work are done at Penns Mount, it has been reliable, consistent and focused on the needs of our residents.It is relatively easy to identify and maintain quality in relation to the physical needs of individual residents, but without social or mental stimulation that fits the abilities of those individuals, their quality of life is radically reduced. The daily sparkle has been tailored to meet the needs of our clients; the more able can enjoy it independently, while the less able benefit from reminiscence sessions built around the sparkle with guidance from the carers notes.The daily sparkle is a quality product, produced by people that care, in conjunction with other activities it has the potential to transform the lives of many elderly people, and to help lift their daily experience from needs met, to one of socially inclusive and stimulating fun.
